About Jones

This blog is written by a guy with little time and too many hobbies.  I'm a graduate student in Anthropology, writing my Ph.D about obsidian trade and social networks in the fourteenth century Southwest.  I've got a one year old daughter and a beautiful wife, who is also a grad student.  I'm a policy wonk, a news junkie, an occasional flint-knapper and hide tanner, and an avid gamer.  And now, apparently, a blogger.  So yeah, I don't have a lot of free time.  But I like the idea of sharing my dabbling in miniature painting, terrain making, running a campaign and thinking about gaming generally.  That's the plan with this page --- if I have the time.
